Terms and Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all users of this website and all clients of Balance Up services, including but not limited to personal training, massage therapy, meditation, Reiki, energy healing, and any related offerings, whether in-person or online.

1. General Information

By accessing this website and/or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or our services.

All services are provided by Balance Up, located in Sydney, Australia. We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website and services constitutes acceptance of those changes.

 

2. Health Disclaimer

All services offered through Balance Up are intended to support general well-being and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult with your doctor or healthcare provider before starting any new exercise, energy healing, or therapeutic practice. Alexandra is not a licensed medical provider.

 

3. Booking and Payments

  • All sessions must be booked in advance via our booking system, by phone, or email.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking or on the day of the session, as agreed.

  • Prices are in AUD and may be subject to change with notice.

 

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

      We understand that life happens. Please see our cancellation terms below:

  • Cancellations with more than 24 hours' notice: No charge. You may reschedule or request a full refund if prepaid.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours: 50% of the session fee will be charged.

  • No-shows or cancellations within 3 hours: The full session fee will be charged.

      Rescheduling is always preferred where possible.

 

5. Session Expectations and Client Responsibility

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment. Sessions that begin late due to client delay may still end at the scheduled time.

  • Inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or pregnancy before the session.

  • For massage and energy sessions, professional boundaries will always be respected. Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session with no refund.

 

6. Refund Policy

Services are non-refundable unless cancelled with proper notice as outlined above. Refunds for prepaid sessions will be processed upon request if eligible under our cancellation policy.

 

7. Gift Card Policy 

  • Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • They can be used for any Balance Up service, including massage, Reiki, personal training, or Inner Shift & Healing.

  • Bookings are essential and subject to availability.

  • If the session price exceeds the card value, the balance can be paid at the appointment.

  • Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.

  • Gift cards may be transferred to another person with prior notice.

 

8. Use of Website

This website is for informational purposes only. All content (text, images, blog posts, etc.) belongs to Balance Up and may not be copied, reused, or distributed without written permission.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

Balance Up and its practitioner(s) shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damages resulting from the use or misuse of services or information provided on this website.

You agree to use all services at your own risk and release Balance Up from all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of NSW courts.
